Sindh Inspector General of Police Ghulam Nabi Memon has said the trust of the public is the greatest achievement for the police, while the use of technology is not only indispensable for modern policing but also a demand of the time.
He said this during a meeting with an 18-member delegation of ASPs participating in the 27th Command Course under the 51st Special Training Programme at the CPO, said a press release on Thursday. The IGP said the Sindh government has approved recommendations for police welfare and the use of advanced technology for effective policing.
Budget allocations have been made for various projects, ensuring full support for their implementation. He emphasized that the trust of the government and the public greatly strengthens police operations. Despite facing criticism, the Sindh police remain steadfast in their mission to combat crime and protect the lives and property of citizens, as evidenced by the sacrifices of many officers and personnel, he added.
