The Anti-Theft Cell of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC), along with Rangers personnel, while taking action against water thieves, demolished four illegal hydrants in Khairabad, Manghoopir.
According to KWSC officials, water thieves had installed four illegal connections of three inches in the 12-inch line supplying water to Yaro Goth and Umar Goth, and those connections have been disconnected.
Due to the illegal connections, the water supply had been affected in the adjacent areas, but it was expected to improve now, the officials said.
