QUETTA: A blast targeted a bomb disposal team of security forces in the Kech district, resulting in the death of one personnel and injuries to two others. While two persons were injured in hand grenade attack in Usta Muhammad.
According to security sources, on Thursday, an IED attack was carried out on the bomb disposal team of security forces at the Absar location in the Turbat area of Kech district. As a result, soldier Shahid Ramazan was killed, and two other personnel, Shams and Amanullah, were injured.
After the incident, the security forces transferred the bodies and injured to the hospital, while the area was cordoned off for further investigation.
Meanwhile, a hand grenade attack in Usta Muhammad left two people injured. According to police officials, unknown assailants threw a hand grenade at a petrol pump owned by Wali Muhammad Chandio on the bypass road in Usta Muhammad. The grenade exploded with a loud blast, injuring Nazakat and Wahid Bakhsh. The injured were immediately transferred to the hospital for medical treatment.
Upon receiving the report of the incident, a heavy contingent of security forces arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area, collected evidence, and began search for the perpetrators.
