IBA Sukkur Vice Chancellor Dr. Asif Sheikh has sought help from the FIA, the Sindh Health Department and the PMDC to ensure impartiality and transparency in conducting the fresh Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT).
Separate letters have been written to the three institutions, requesting them to nominate seven officers of Grade 18 for the test centers. Vice Chancellor Dr. Asif Sheikh has written to the additional Director general of the FIA, the head of examinations PMDC, Dr. Imdad Ali Khushk, and Deputy Secretary Health Department Zohaib Hassan Sheikh, requesting them to observe the test and help the IBA Sukkur maintain the integrity of the examination process.
The letter further states that seven officers should be nominated for each examination centre, preferably not less than (BPS-18) grade, to visit the examination centres on the day of the examination. It says: “Your participation will greatly contribute to the credibility and smooth conduct of this important examination. For ease of coordination, please share the details of the designated officers with us at your earliest convenience. IBA looks forward to your positive response and valuable cooperation. If you require any additional information or clarification, please feel free to contact us.”
The letter states that a total of 38,683 candidates will participate in the test, which will be held in six cities across five divisions of Sindh. The test will be conducted at designated centres to ensure convenience and accessibility for all applicants. The cities and centres have been selected to maintain transparency and ensure a smooth process. This test will be held on Sunday, December 8, from 9am to 3pm in Karachi at two locations: University of Karachi and NED University of Engineering and Technology, while in the interior of Sindh in Hyderabad it will be held at Public School Hyderabad, Latifabad Unit No. 03, Latifabad, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology in Jamshoro, Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Sciences and Technology in Nawabshah, Police Training School Larkana in Larkana and IBA Public School Gate No. 3 in Sukkur.
