According to the federal finance minister, the PTI’s protests cost the country around Rs190 billion daily. In addition to these losses, the people also suffer a lot in terms of lost revenue for businesses and lack of peace and security.
It is ironic how the PTI founder can provoke such chaos while sitting in jail while those leaders in power seem rather powerless, forcing them to go into lockdown mode. The government needs a wiser strategy to deal with this unrest.
