Cold forecast

LAHORE:Cold and dry weather with partly cloudy conditions was observed in the City here on Thursday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.

Met officials said continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave was likely to approach the upper parts of the country from Saturday night. Thursday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Leh where mercury dropped to -10°C while in Lahore it was 8.6°C and maximum was 25°C. Meanwhile, the AQI of the City vary between 270 to 158 and PM2.5 concentrations was 13.1 times the World Health Organisation annual PM2.5 guideline value.
