QUETTA: Two persons were killed in a bomb explosion in MazaiAdha area of Qila Abdulllah in northern Balochistan.
Levies officials said that the blast took place behind Levies Station. The bodies were shifted to Trauma Centre MazaiAdha. Assistant commissioner of Qila Abdullah, Shehak Baloch confirmed the blast and two killings and added that it seemed that the persons which were killed in the blast were carrying a bomb to attack the station but before reaching at their target the bomb exploded and both of them were killed.
“They wanted to attack Levies station but the bomb exploded in an orchard behind the Levies station,” Shahek Baloch said. He said bodies were blown up and are beyond recognition. He said a motorcycle was also found from the explosion site while pistol was also recovered from their possession. It was fourth blast in different areas of Qila Abdullah district during last two weeks. Levies officials said that bomb disposal squad was called for searching the area. Further investigation is in progress.
