LAHORE: Cold wave persisted in the provincial metropolis here on Monday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said cold wave was likely to continue in most areas of the country. Monday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Leh where mercury dropped to -13°C, while in Lahore, it was 6.3°C and maximum was 21°C. The AQI of the City was recorded as 124, which came into the category of unhealthy for sensitive groups.
