Islamabad: A 23-year-old girl found dead in a room of a hotel near PIMS, police said. The girl, identified as Meera Johnson, was a resident of Sector F-6/2, police maintained. The room was booked by a male individual, hotel sources said. The man accompanied the deceased to the hotel room two days ago, and booked the room. The man reportedly managed to escape easily last night, leaving the girl dead in the room, sources added. On the suspicious situation, the hotel staff opened the room and discovered the body, hotel management confirmed. The police transferred the body to PIMS for post-mortem, and an investigation is underway. The police have yet not got the suspicious person who took the girl with him and booked the room. However, the police are interrogating the management of the hotel involved in allotting the room without questioning them.
