PESHAWAR: A station house officer was martyred in a late night attack on a police party in Mingora, Swat. Reports said unidentified armed men attacked a police party near Green Chowk in Mingora.
The station house officer of Manglawar Police Station, Rahim Khan, was martyred in the attack. Another policeman Atta Ullah who was injured and was shifted to hospital. Heavy police contingents arrived at the spot and cordoned off the area. A search operation was underway till late night.
