LAHORE: Muzaffar alias Zafri, an accused involved in a heinous case of kidnapping and murder, was killed by his own accomplices while in the custody of the Organised Crime Unit Kahna.
Muzaffar, who had a criminal record of 60 cases, including robbery and burglary, was being transported by police to Nishtar Police Station for the arrest and recovery of his accomplices. In the Shama Colony area, his accomplices ambushed the police team and opened fire.
During the attack, Muzaffar was fatally shot by his own accomplices and died on the spot. Remarkably, no police personnel were injured in the incident. However, the attackers managed to escape under the cover of the darkness.
Youth shot dead

The incident occurred when the accused opened fire following a brief dispute with the two brothers, leaving them injured.
Both were rushed to the hospital, where Janzeb succumbed to his injuries, while his brother Shahzeb was in critical condition. Body was shifted to the morgue by an Edhi ambulance.
