PESHAWAR: A local court on Saturday dismissed the bail plea of the accused in a blasphemy case and sent him to prison.
District and Sessions Judge Inamullah Wazir rejected the bail application of the accused, Abdul Majid, in a blasphemy case and ordered that the accused be kept in prison.
During the hearing of the bail plea, the court was informed that the accused had allegedly desecrated the Holy Quran on social media and shared blasphemous contents on various social media apps.
