The Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) conducted operations in Karachi and arrested nine most-wanted suspects, including three drug addicts, who were involved in using stolen and snatched vehicles for street crimes.
During the operations, 16 stolen motorcycles were recovered, including one that had been dismantled. Four suspects — Ashian Masih, Habib Masih, Salman Wilson and Ibrahim Wilson — were arrested by the AVLC Korangi division and 11 stolen motorcycles were recovered from their possession.
Similarly, the AVLC Lyari division also arrested two suspects — Zubair Mustafa and Faheemuddin — and recovered two stolen motorcycles. The operation was carried out in the SITE and Baghdadi areas.
Separately, three suspects, Sohail, Umair Khan and Dilawar, who are said to be drug addicts, were arrested by the AVLC City division.
Three stolen motorcycles were recovered from their possession. According to the AVLC, the arrested suspects had no prior criminal records and they were not previously arrested.
