Smart police station inspected

Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab along with Secretary C&W Punjab inspected the under-construction Smart police station in Islampura and Safe Cities Women’s Hostel at Qurban Lines.

The IGP termed the women’s hostel a landmark facility for female police staff. The two-story building, with 204 beds, will include a daycare centre, mess, library, and recreational area. Reviewing progress on 22 smart police stations nearing completion in Lahore, IG stressed timely delivery. He noted 39 such stations across Punjab are being built on 1-2 kanal plots, adhering to modern police protocols to enhance services for citizens.
