PESHAWAR: Wall chalking in favour of Daesh was witnessed on the Sher Shah Suri Road in the sensitive area of the provincial capital, triggering concerns among the people.
The writing with a temporary white chalk only wrote the name Daesh in Urdu on a wall near the Cantt Railway Station. It was reported that the same was written on another wall as well.
Authorities cleaned the wall when it was brought into the notice of the officials.
An official said a joint investigation by the Counter-Terrorism Department and local police was being done to find if it was some mischievous act or there were other elements behind it.
