A feeder service has been started between Karachi and Jebel Ali, a port town located south-west of Dubai. DP World and NLC have started the feeder service from Jebel Ali to Karachi.
According to Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, group chairman and CEO of DP World, the feeder service would operate weekly for the transportation of containers from Jebel Ali to Karachi. Sulayem inaugurated the feeder service, with senior officials from DP World, NLC and Port Qasim present on the occasion.
This service will enable the transportation of containers from Jebel Ali to Karachi and other global markets at a lower cost and in less time. The fastest and most reliable delivery will facilitate business, providing direct benefits of the feeder service to traders and significantly boosting economic activities in the region.
