KARACHI: Navy consolidated its lead on the fourth day of 32nd National Shooting Championship at PN Shooting range here on Sunday.
In the individual category of 50m Pistol, Army’s Kaleemullah scored 542 points to clinch gold medal and Shahrukh Khan from Navy scored 541 points toclaim silver medal while M Anwar from PAF scored 541 points to take bronze medal.
In the team category of the said event, Navy scored 1618 points to win gold, Army scored 1615 points to take silver, and PAF scored 1589 points for bronze medal. In the final of individual category of 25m Pistol event for women, Navy’s Rasam Gul scored 29/50 to take gold medal and Rabia Kabir scored 23/50 for bronze medal while Army’s Kishmala Talat scored 27/50 to win silver medal.
In the team category of the said event, Navy scored 1724 points (new national record) to claim gold, Army scored 1688 points for silver, and WAPDA scored 1643 points to take bronze medal.
In the individual category of 50m Rifle 3-Position, Army’s M Uzman scored 450.6 points to claim gold medal and Sarfraz Gull scored 436.3 points for bronze medal while Aqib Latif from Navy scored 445.9 points to take silver medal.
In the team category of the said event, Army scored 1717 points to win gold, Navy scored1695 points to claim silver, and PAF scored 1621 points for bronze medal. At the end of day four, Navy with 10 gold, nine silver, and three bronze medals topped the medal table while Army with eight gold, eight silver, and five bronze medals stood second. PAF with one silver and seven bronze medals took third position while HEC, Sindh, and Wapda each with one bronze medal got fourth position.
