LAHORE:As part of operations to curb smog and protect the environment, two cases were registered, and offenders were arrested during a crackdown on smog in Lahore and other districts over the past 24 hours. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, fines totalling Rs948,000 were imposed on 309 and warnings were issued to 35 others. Violations included burning crop residues, emissions from excessive smoke-producing vehicles (309 violations), and violations by brick kilns (9 cases).
