One wonders why taxpayers should take exception to the monumental increase in parliamentarian salaries. A more than two-fold jump in their emoluments would enable them to make ends meet and reinvigorate their energy to serve the ordinary citizens.
In other words, the first step for poverty alleviation has been taken by the parliamentarians.
