ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Yasin Azad was elected as Chairman Executive Committee of Pakistan Bar Council (PBC).
Azad was elected as Chairman Executive Committee of the PBC during a meeting held here on Thursday at its office in Supreme Court, Islamabad for election of the said slot.
This position of PBC was left vacant after the elevation of former chairman Muhammad Tariq Afridi to Peshawar High Court as Additional Judge.
The PBC’s Executive Committee on Thursday unanimously elected Muhammad Yasin Azad as its chairman for the year 2025. Azad is a senior advocate and former president of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).
