LAHORE: Two women sustained burns when two unidentified motorcyclists threw acid on them in the Harbanspura area on Thursday.
The victims were on their way to a local market when two men on a motorcycle intercepted them and threw acid on them. As a result, both women were injured, while the attackers managed to flee the scene. One woman ‘S’ suffered burns to her face, hands, and other parts of her body, while another woman ‘F’ was also injured in the
attack.
Police registered a case based on the victims' complaint. One of the victims stated that she was on her way to buy groceries. As she approached her home, the two bike riders threw acid, injuring both her
and her friend, who was walking nearby.
