karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has said the Akhuwat Foundation and personalities like Dr Amjad Saqib are a beacon of light amid the darkness.
Addressing a fundraising ceremony organised by the Akhuwat Foundation at the Governor House on Sunday, he said no one had been able to do the work in the 77 years of Pakistan’s history that Dr Saqib had done.
If the wealthy people spent only 10 per cent of their money on the needy, no poor would be left in the country, he remarked.
Akhuwat Foundation founder and chairman Dr Saqib and Karachi President Danish Aman were also present in the occasion.
