LISBON: Taking the name Aga Khan V, Prince Rahim Al-Hussaini on Tuesday officially became the hereditary Imam of the Ismaili community, following the death of his father a week earlier.
The 53-year-old was sworn in as the community´s 50th Imam at a ceremony in Lisbon, where his father, Prince Karim Al-Hussaini, or Aga Khan IV, died last Tuesday at the age of 88.
