Three women were critically injured following a powerful explosion caused by a gas leak in a house in New Karachi on Thursday.
The explosion occurred in a house near Ayub Goth in Godhra Society. Following the blast, police and rescue teams rushed to the scene. According to rescue officials, the injured women were immediately taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment.
The injured were identified as 22-year-old Arooba, wife of Faraz; 45-year-old Khalida, wife of Faheem; and 15-year-old Hooriya, daughter of Faheem. Initial reports suggested that the explosion had been caused by a gas cylinder, but further investigation revealed that the blast resulted from gas accumulation within the room.
