Pakistan had little to no rain in December and January and February is probably going to end without any rain too. Islamabad is dry and dust clouds are floating around the whole city. Health issues like asthma, allergies and nasal problems are at their peak. Rawalpindi and Islamabad are in a semi-arid zone, which depends a lot on rain.
Agriculture is badly affected, wells are running dry and water reservoirs are showing hopeless results. Climate change is getting worse in our zone too. The concerned authorities must work on water management policies and their implementation before the situation gets more serious.
