I am writing to bring to your attention a pressing matter regarding the promotions of officers from Grade 18 to Grade 19. It has been over seven months since the Board II meeting was last convened, despite all formalities being completed and files of officers from various departments being ready.
This delay has resulted in many senior officers retiring without being promoted, leaving key administrative posts vacant. This vacuum is significantly hindering day-to-day official work. As per rules, the Board II meeting should be conducted every three months to facilitate promotions. Unfortunately, this has not happened for over seven months.
