PTI’s Amir Mughal declared proclaimed offender

ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Islamabad Region President Amir Mughal a proclaimed offender.

ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Supra declared the PTI leader proclaimed offender after his continued non-appearance despite being summoned in a case registered against PTI leadership under the provisions of protest and arson.

During the hearing, the judge said Amir Mughal did not appear in court despite being summoned several times. The court declared Amir Mughal a proclaimed offender and adjourned the hearing till March 17. The case had been registered against the PTI leadership in Sangjani police station in 2022.
