KARACHI: Pakistan is making a strong push to expand its global footprint in the food and beverage industry with a significant presence at Gulfood 2025, the world’s largest annual food trade exhibition. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is facilitating the participation of 45 Pakistani companies at the event, which runs from February 17 to 21 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Gulfood 2025 features over 5,000 exhibitors from 129 countries, presenting more than one million products. The Pakistani pavilion highlights a diverse range of agro-food products, including rice, grains, processed foods, spices, bakery items, horticulture, herbal products, honey, meat, dairy and beverages.

Pakistan’s delegation aims to leverage the event’s global reach to strengthen trade ties and boost food exports. The consulate general of Pakistan in Dubai has played a key role in facilitating pre-event arrangements and on-ground support for exhibitors.

“Pakistan’s participation in Gulfood 2025 underscores our commitment to expanding our global footprint in the food and beverage sector,” said Sheryar Taj, Secretary of TDAP. “We are confident that this event will generate significant business opportunities for Pakistani exporters and contribute to the growth of our agro-food industry.” TDAP’s continued efforts to promote Pakistan’s agro-food sector at international platforms align with its broader strategy to enhance exports and drive economic growth.
