QUETTA: The Leader of the Opposition, Mir Younus Aziz Zehri, claimed that the Sindh provincial government is attempting to include an area of Khuzdar, known as “Kutay Ki Qabar,” within Sindh.
In response, Provincial Minister of Revenue Asim Kurd Gello stated that the area is being exploited for oil, which is why the Sindh government seeks to incorporate it into their province.
It was further noted that the Supreme Court has issued orders affirming that the area belongs to Balochistan, and the province will not relinquish its land to Sindh under any circumstances.
Mir Asim Kurd Gello, confirmed that the government has requested a report from the SMBR, as oil is being extracted from the area, and that this is the reason behind Sindh’s actions. “We will not give an inch of our province to another province,” Gello asserted.
