Motorcycle thefts at the University of Karachi are compromising the safety and well-being of its students. A university should not be a hub for crime. These thefts not only result in financial loss but also ruin students’ morale, motivation, and sense of security.
Is it not the responsibility of the administration to ensure a secure environment? Upon complaining, the only solution they provide students is to bring their IDs, supposedly to prevent unknown persons from entering the university. Is this measure enough to protect the huge number of students and their property?
