ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Monday increased the average sale price of re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) consumers by 4.08 percent, while reducing it for Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) consumers by 01.06 percent for the month of April 2025, according to a notification by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra).
The revised prices, effective April 1, 2025, reflect adjustments in price differentials and delivered ex-ship costs. The RLNG price for the consumers of SNGPL has been increased by $0.5812 per million British thermal units (mmBtu), while for SSGC it was reduced by $0.1345/mmBtu, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) said in a notification issued here. The new weighted average sale price for SNGPL consumers stands at $13.4789/mmBtu, up from $12.9499 in March 2025. In contrast, SSGCL consumers will pay $12.591 per mmBtu, down from $12.7255. Ogra attributed the decrease for SNGPL consumers to a reduction in price differentials, while the slight hike for SSGCL consumers was linked to an increase in delivered ex-ship prices.
