The funeral prayers for two other victims Muhammad Jamshed and Khalid were offered in Mehrab Wala and Chakki Morr near Ahmad Pur East.
Funeral prayers for the seventh victim, Nasir, were offered in neighbouring town of Rang Pur, and that of Amer Liaqat, in Basti Shandhian Wala near Shujaabad district, Multan. Thousands of people, including relatives of the victims, attended the funeral prayers. Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Railways Mian Usman Owaisi, who is also MNA from that area, Regional Police Officer Rai Babar Saeed, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Farhan Farooq and local administrative officers also participated in the funeral prayers. The deceased were buried in their respective ancestral graveyards. The bodies of the victims were brought to the Bahawalpur Airport by a special plane.
The victims were shot dead by the Balochistan National Army (BNA) terrorists while they were sleeping in their auto workshop in Sistan-Baluchistan’s Mehrestan area.
