ISLAMABAD: The heads of the Pak-GCC Anti-Narcotics Conference delegations called on Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi on Friday, reaffirming their full cooperation with Pakistan in the fight against narcotics.
The interior minister thanked the delegations of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman for participating in Pak-GCC Conference.
Naqvi congratulated the delegates of ANF Pakistan and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on the successful conference and appreciated their full cooperation. The delegates reiterated their full cooperation with the government of Pakistan in the fight against narcotics.
It was decided that a meeting of the Anti-Narcotics Ministers of Pak-GCC countries will be held by the end of this year. Naqvi said major decisions will be taken in that meeting to combat narcotics.
He said in line with the recommendations of the conference regarding fight against narcotics, mutual cooperation will be further strengthened. He added that these recommendations will help in formulating an effective strategy.
