Jobless generation

Wednesday, Apr 23, 2025

Despite having a large, talented and educated young population, many graduates are struggling to find suitable jobs. This rising unemployment is leading to frustration, brain drain and an increase in crime rates. One of the key reasons for this crisis is the mismatch between education and industry requirements. Many degree-holders lack the technical and practical skills that the job market demands. Additionally, the slow economic growth, lack of investment and political instability have further worsened the situation. Small businesses and startups, which could generate employment, are also struggling due to high taxes and lack of government support.

The government must take urgent steps to promote skill-based education, attract foreign investment and encourage entrepreneurship. Policies should be introduced to support local businesses and create more job opportunities. Without immediate action, the rising unemployment rate will continue to impede our country's progress.
