A 14-year-old boy, named Hussain, son of Ali, lost his life after being caught in crossfire during an attempted street robbery in Orangi Town within the limits of Pakistan Bazaar police station.
According to police, two motorcyclists were attempting to rob a passerby when a nearby citizen, Shahenshah Hasan, opened fire on the robbers using his licensed pistol. As a result, one of the suspects was killed on the spot while the other fled the scene with injuries. Unfortunately, during the exchange of fire, the teenager was fatally shot due to firing by the suspects.
Police have recovered a weapon along with ammunition from the killed suspect. The citizen’s licensed pistol has been seized for forensic analysis. Efforts are underway to identify the suspect and further investigations are underway.
