India is blaming Pakistan for the Pahalgam attack, while ignoring the credible accusations it faces of spreading terror in Pakistan. Now, it is further destabilizing the region with its aggressive posture towards this country and its unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty. India and Pakistan are very close, so any harm that comes to one country will always spread to the other. Being neighbours means sharing success and failures, which makes India’s current posture quite self-destructive. It would be wiser for both countries to go to the negotiating table and work out their problems.
