LAHORE:Punjab Police’s campaign to deport illegally residing foreign nationals has made significant progress, with 12,548 individuals, including Afghans, deported from across the province.
A police spokesperson confirmed that 12,759 individuals have been transferred to holding centres, with 211 currently held at these points. Additionally, five holding centres have been set up in Lahore, and 46 across the province to manage the process. The campaign aims to address illegal immigration and enhance security across the region.
