LAHORE:The wait is finally over for students eagerly anticipating laptops. The distribution of laptops among the high-achievers of Punjab will begin from Wednesday (today).
In a handout, Punjab Minister for Education, Rana Sikandar Hayat, shared the exciting news, stating that the initiative kicks off in City today, marking the fulfilment of another promise made by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. The minister said that the first distribution ceremony will be held at UET Lahore today (Wednesday), with similar events scheduled across all divisions of the province.
Rana Sikandar Hayat further announced that the CM will personally oversee the distribution of laptops in each division. He emphasised that the laptops being provided were equipped with modern technology, enhancing students’ academic and digital learning capabilities. A total of 110,000 laptops will be distributed among students of public sector universities and colleges. The minister added that this initiative reflects the government’s commitment to empowering youth, noting, 'The CM has once again delivered on her promise to the young generation.' He also stated, 'the PMLN does not make hollow promises. We fulfill every commitment. Whatever we say, we make it happen.' He concluded by affirming that every promise made by the party is materialising in the form of concrete developmental projects.
