ISLAMABAD: Pakistan outplayed India and the Philippines to make it to the quarter-finals of the 10th Asian Beach Handball Championship underway in Muscat.
Pakistan managed to beat a powerful Philippine side 2-1 (19-20, 20-10 and 7-6) in the opening match. The outing against India proved a cakewalk for Pakistan. The greenshirts won easily 34-6, 36-7. Pakistan will now take on Saudi Arabia on Monday for a place in the quarter-finals.
