ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned Senate session today (Wednesday) at 4 p.m.
A notification issued by the Senate Secretariat stated, “in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President has been pleased to summon the Senate to meet in the Parliament House, Islamabad, on Wednesday, the 14th May, 2025, at 04:00 p.m.” The Senate also issued one point agenda for the session that includes condolence resolution and reference for the late Senator Sajid Mir, who passed away on May 3, 2025.
