LAHORE: Punjab Women Protection Authority Chairperson MPA Hina Parvez Butt submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly on Friday, expressing gratitude and admiration for the Pakistan armed forces on the success of Operation ‘Bunyanum Marsoos.’
The resolution acknowledges the exemplary military strategy and bravery demonstrated by Pakistan’s armed forces, saying that the nation is proud of the triumph in what is described as a ‘Battle for Truth’ where the enemy, India, faced a humiliating defeat. It praises the Pakistan Air Force for elevating the country’s global standing through their professional excellence and unmatched courage. The resolution declares that every soldier is a symbol of national pride, and the unity shown by the Pakistani people deserves equal appreciation. The Assembly also rejected the false propaganda by the Indian government and reiterated that Pakistan will never compromise on its sovereignty. The resolution reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in the region, emphasising that any aggression would be met with the strongest possible response and that the nation stands united with its armed forces. While presenting the resolution, Hina said: “Once again, our brave forces have proven that they are the true guardians of our nation. Their sacrifices and courage are a source of pride for every Pakistani.”
