Islamabad:Former Chairman of the Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) and founder of MS Developers, Mohsin Sheikhani, stated that his company was offering apartments in Islamabad at a price of just Rs3.6 million. This he said was the realization of his long-held dream. He was addressing a packed media briefing at the National Press Club, Islamabad where he announced the launch of Pakistan’s most affordable apartments, ‘Vihaara’ starting at an affordable price of Rs3.6 million.
On this occasion, Star Marketing’s CEO Wasiq Naeem, Mumtaz City CEO Umair Mumtaz Butt, Gandhara City CEO Raja Ibrahim Tahir, prominent influencers, vloggers, and leading figures from the real estate and media sectors were also present. Mohsin Sheikhani announced that they will be give free apartments to the families of the martyrs of the recent Pakistan-India conflict. He said that they had laid down their lives for the motherland and this is the least one could offer as sincere gratitude for their sacrifice.
He said that ‘Vihaara’ has studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments at the project. The apartment towers of Vihaara are being constructed in Mumtaz City and Gandhara City-two highly desirable residential schemes near Islamabad International Airport. He highlighted that Pakistan faces a shortage of over 10 million housing units and that low-cost residential projects are needed across the country to bridge this gap. ‘Vihaara’ is an attempt to provide affordable housing to those who have dreamed for years of having a roof over their family’s heads.
He also shared details of the studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, including available payment plans and easy instalment options. He emphasised that while these apartments are low-cost, their quality and amenities are comparable to high-end apartments in Islamabad. The apartments will also include women’s training centers, skill development centers, and baby daycare facilities.
Mohsin Sheikhani noted that these apartments are located in the vibrant and well-developed communities of Mumtaz City and Gandhara City, which are considered ideal due to their proximity to Islamabad Airport and direct connectivity to Islamabad and Rawalpindi via the Metro Bus Network. He added that his vision is to launch this series of affordable units in all major cities of Pakistan, where the middle class most desperately needs cost-effective housing. Creating and offering affordable residential units to the people of Pakistan is the fulfilment of a dream he has carried for many years. ***
