Six senior officials reshuffled

LAHORE: The Punjab government has approved major administrative reshuffling involving six senior officers across various departments.

Deputy Commissioner Gujrat, Safdar Hussain Warraich, has been granted ex-Pakistan leave.

The Grade-18 officer has been removed from his position and directed to report to the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD). In his place, Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala Naveed Ahmad has been given additional charge as Deputy Commissioner Gujrat. An official notification has been issued.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Usman, serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Punjab Public-Private Partnership Authority, has been replaced and made an Officer on Special Duty (OSD).

Similarly, Taseer Ahmad, CEO of the Punjab Cattle Market Management and Development Company, has also been removed and posted as OSD.

In his place, Bilal Hashim, former Additional Secretary in the Finance Department, has been appointed CEO of the Punjab Cattle Market Management and Development Company.

Muhammad Hamza Salik, Programme Director of the Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Programme, has been reassigned and made OSD. Umar Javed, previously Additional Secretary Finance, has been appointed in his place as Programme Director.

In another key move, Muhammad Zeeshan Hanif, Additional Secretary in the Home Department, has been transferred and appointed as the new CEO of the Punjab Public-Private Partnership Authority.
