LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is all set to launch the 2025-26 Regional Inter-District Senior Cricket Tournament on Saturday (June 14), across six initial regions—Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, FATA, Lahore, Multan and Sialkot.
Additional regions will join in the staggered rollout soon afterwards. AJK and Larkana matches will be from June 15 whereas Faisalabad, Islamabad and Peshawar matches will start from June 16 followed by Quetta fronm June 19,
Hyderabad and Rawalpindi from June 20, Dera Murad Jamali from June 21 and Karachi contests from June 27. This year’s tournament will see an impressive line-up of 110 teams competing in three-day red-ball matches across 16 regional hubs. Selections were made following standout performances in the Challenge League (two-day format) and the President’s Trophy Grade-II, with several players earning retention from last season.
