ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Sunday said that despite conspiracies of India and Israel, a crucial meeting of the International Cooperation Review Group (ICRG) of Financial Action Task Force (FATF) did not place Pakistan on the grey list.
The defence minister termed the development country’s big victory.
“From realistic point of view, Pakistan has fulfilled all conditions of FATF and as such there is no reason that Pakistan is kept on any such list,” Khawaja Asif on ‘ X’ said.
He said that the ICRG meeting of FATF decided not to place Pakistan on the grey list.
He said that China, while taking a categorical stance, supported relief for Pakistan while Turkyie also backed China’s view.
“Japan, which is also co-chairman of Asia Pacific Group, also supported us,” Khawaja Asif said.
