HYDERABAD: A passenger train derailed near Hyderabad on its way to Karachi from Peshawar on Friday, however, no casualties were reported.
According to Geo News, around 10 bogies of Rehman Baba Express derailed on the down track, following which authorities concerned immediately summoned rescue teams.
An Edhi rescue service spokesman also confirmed reports of no casualties. “No injured passengers have been brought to the nearest medical facility, Kotri taluka hospital,” he said, adding enough ambulances and rescue workers had been sent to the site of the accident. The cause of the accident was yet to be ascertained.
