KARACHI: A group of journalists from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa attended a five-day advance training workshop on economic journalism in the port city.
The Governance and Policy Program (GPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized the training in collaboration with the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and Center for Excellence in Journalism (CEJ).
During the workshop, the economic expert Dr Qazi Masood, senior journalist Absar Alam, Atif Khan Yousafzai from GPP, Riaz Daudzai from RTI and other speakers trained the journalists about the federal budget, NFC award, Pak-Afghan transit trade and RTI.
The journalists were also trained on how to understand the working of the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the public sector development programme and border reporting.
The journalists were also given a tour of the Pakistan Stock Exchange, Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
