PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Arbab Khizer Hayat has expressed concern over the unannounced heavy load-shedding in various villages in provincial metropolis and urged the government to take practical and effective measures to rid the people from the ongoing injustice.
In a letter to Federal Minister for Water and Power Khurram Dastagir and later talking to reporters on Sunday, he said that people of Tehkal Payan, Tehkal Bala, Palosai, Rahatbad and its adjacent areas were facing acute problems in this hot weather. The increasing load-shedding had made life miserable for the residents but the Pesco authorities were least interested in the solution of their problems.
The PML-N leader observed that their repeated requests were not heard and said that the PML-N and its allies must take practical steps to solve problems.
