TOBA TEK SINGH: A Kamalia government primary school’s fourth class student, who had been missing for the last four months, was murdered after rape by a school watchman, police said.
This was revealed by accused watchman Abdul Ghaffar during an investigation when was once again arrested by Kamalia city police on Sunday. He confessed he had kidnapped the girl and strangled her after rape and dumped her body in the River Ravi.
Police said clothes and shoes of the victim had been recovered. However, the body could not be found.
The accused had been arrested immediately after the girl went missing but was released after being declared innocent. He was rearrested two days ago.
