Pirabad police have registered a case based on the complaint of 16-year-old Marwa. The daughter has nominated her father in the case. "My mother, Zarkheba, and I were living in hiding from my father,” reads the FIR.

"Two unidentified assailants fired at my mother and me during Iftar on Wednesday.” As a result of the firing, Marwa’s mother lost her life and she got injured.

"In 2022, my father's enemies attacked my fiancée," she narrated. "In the attack, my fiancée Hayat Khan, his uncle, and the rickshaw driver were killed.”

After the incident, she and her mother had been living in hiding from her father, and later, her mother got her engaged to someone else.

This angered the father, who had previously threatened the mother. It is suspected that my father, Faizur Rahman, along with his unidentified accomplices, attacked the woman and her daughtehr at home.
